Duo Marketplace and Duo Sample Station was created by Fred Larkins and Mike White.  Together they have over 29 years in the product broker business.  Both have owned successful broker businesses and have worked extensively with brands from all over the US.    They have also worked with thousands of independently owned retail stores across the US.  Having both done numerous in-store sample demos they knew there had to be a better more efficient way that could really benefit both the store and the brands.   After many, many hours of discussions and brainstorming, the Duo Sample Station was born.  They are both extremely excited to help more brands and retailers sell more product, engage new customers and remind current customers of their brand and products.

Fred Larkins

Fred Larkins has spent the last 11 years as a food broker.  He has worked with hundreds of brands and thousands of retail stores across the US.    He has pioneered brands like Ice Chips Candy, growing them from a few thousand dollars a year to multi-millions in  sales.   Currently, he is the VP of Sales for Zellie's, a xylitol gum and mint company ,where he has consistently increased sales for the last 3 years by 30% each year.  A serial entrepreneur, he has been involved with 13 start ups since 1995.  He has owned a manufacturing company, a food broker company, a record label and a music management business.  He LOVES helping small businesses grow their sales and market share.  Fred strives to create win-win relationships.  Customer service and the needs of the market are always forefront on his mind.  

Brian Mann
Technical Director

Brian N.D. Mann understands the importance of data and a given industry's reliance upon the same.  With 15 years experience in managing high-volume metadata ingestion
systems between 2 companies, DiscoverMusic and MediaNet, he's worked through the many peaks and pitfalls of building databases of critical information, through both manual and automated means. While well versed in the technical aspects of such operations -- using RDBMS' such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB, as well as related languages/tools such SQL, XML and XSLT -- he also understands the critical role of data integrity, having managed teams of data entry & QA
staff ranging from 5 to 45 people.

Mr. Mann also brings with him 10 years of experience in systems
administration of both Windows- and Linux-based platforms. A
technologist and tinkerer at heart, he's always happy to be 'in the weeds,' delving into the nuts-and-bolts of systems while looking for ways to improve efficiency and increase ROI.

Mike White

Michael White has worked in the retail market for over 20 years. He started  Leashables®  with 3  other partners. As the VP of Sales he grew their brand to the 4th best-seller in the Mass market and managed a brokerage force across the United States. In addition he has sold to over 20,000 retailers across the United States and 80+ countries internationally. After he sold his company he has been a part of growing more multi-million dollar brands. All the brands he has started exceed over 100 million in sales.  He has worked with Wal-Mart, Target, Albertson’s, Costco, Amazon, Walgreens, and many more retail chains in the US, yet he understands and appreciates the value in the mom and pop retailer and built his business on individual retailers that cater to their local community

Chad Gove

Chad Gove has over 18 years experience in management with operations and training, and 10 years of call center operations and training both domestically and internationally. He has spent several years consulting and cultivating relationships in the call center industry. Highly dedicated, meticulous and efficient Customer-first focused leader in the eCommerce field as both a Senior Manager of Operations in Utah and Director of Outsourcing in the Philippines. Highly focused on providing exceptional customer and employee experience.

As Senior Partner Operations Manager with he started with a team of 30 agents with 3 leaders which grew to over 150 agents. Worked with leadership across three locations (San Bruno, NJ and SLC). Developed processes through collaboration to improve the Partner experience as well as the customer experience. Worked directly with agents, team leaders and leaders in the department for career growth. Implemented new systems and system trainings to ensure success with new platforms. was acquired by Walmart for $3.3 Billion in 2016.
